Wolf Francis

John Dooley, known creatively as Wolf Francis, is a multidisciplinary storyteller with expertise in documentary production, design, and brand development. His career has spanned education, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, always with a focus on crafting compelling narratives.

John studied literature and philosophy at the University of Tennessee, where he developed a deep understanding of story structure and narrative theory. After graduating, he moved to South Korea, where he co-founded the children's edu-tainment brand Calm Island. There, he played a key role in educational app development, curriculum design, and the creation of interactive learning spaces.

Upon returning to the U.S. in 2016, John became an Executive Producer at Super Chief, working on unscripted television series and large-scale media projects. In 2018, he shifted his focus toward the nonprofit sector, using his storytelling and design expertise to support organizations such as The Trust for Public Land, Chattanooga Organized for Action, Stoveworks, and the Lyndhurst Foundation.

John now serves as the Executive Director of Songbirds Foundation, where he leads strategic initiatives that expand music education access and career development programs for young musicians. His work includes overseeing educational programming, fundraising, strategic partnerships, and storytelling initiatives that highlight Songbirds’ impact.

His creative skill set includes documentary production, post-production, graphic design, motion graphics, exhibition design, and writing. An endurance sport enthusiast, John spends his free time trail running and gravel riding.
